Writing a Friendly Letter
The first part of writing a letter is to include the
Heading. When writing a letter, the person whom is writing should include their
address and the date in the top right hand corner of the page. It is not always required to have your

This is really cool, the video of the 3rd graders is really cute! :)
ReplyDeleteGood job.
It would be neat to let your own class create their own letter video.
I really like your map. It's very clear and easy to read and understand. I think maybe for each of the five topics you could have done examples like you did for signature, just to show what other parts of the letter look like so it will be unified. I think the video is cute and will keep their attention. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYour topic is great! Children need to know how to write a letter, and this is a fun way to teach them how. I think the video of the kids is awesome! The only thing I would change is the background color on the map.
ReplyDeleteKeep shapes consistent, the picture of the "John Hancock" could have been a link to keep the consistency.
ReplyDeleteMake sure the picture for the title bubble is easily read, maybe crop it.
Loved the video, maybe a class could even make their own video!
That is a very good topic. The video is a very neat that you found.
ReplyDeleteI think you need more color for the font. Your layout for your map the brown needs to be changed. I like your node colors. I love the video of the kids "write me a letter" that was the best thing ever.
ReplyDeleteLove the video and the links. The video was funny and presented great information at the same time. The color of the map was a little boring, but I loved it overall.
ReplyDeleteGreat song!
ReplyDeleteThis concept map is not only fun and entertaining for kids (especially the video) but it's also very organized- this will enable the kids to easily understand how to write a letter in a fun and interesting way!!
ReplyDeleteI like the short video from the kids about the parents moving with the song. Change the dull color of the background. Find another class, preferably another culture if you can, to pen pal and skype with.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE THE LETTER VIDEO! Such a great way to teach children about writing a letter. I like the layout of your map but I would change the colors to be more appealing to your students. Also, read over outline before publishing to catch any errors such as writing in all caps. Overall, Great job!!
ReplyDeleteThe video was awesome! and so funny and something children will remember since we all know they are in love with j beibs.
ReplyDeleteI love colors and layout!!! This would be a great lesson for second or third graders. It would make a great pen-pal assignment for them. The letter video was just a great touch to your presentation. AWESOME JOB!!!!
