1. After viewing the Pay Attention, A Vision of K-12 students,& A Vision of College Students today, how can you use the information provided to become a better teacher? I would definitly use technology with future students because it is a major portion of their everyday life. It allows them to venture out in their comfort zones and be creative with ways of gaining knowledge.
2. What statements and facts made an impact on you? A statment that made an impact on me would be that student spend more time watching tv than doing homework. By using technology to help with school work can show to students that learning can be fun.
3. Does technology have a place in your classroom now or in the future? Why? I think that technology will always have a place in my classroom. If technology can help a struggling student then by all means I will use technology.
I was astonished when I saw these statistics. I could not believe it either. I really want to change this when I become a teacher in the future.
